Why? Understanding Female Gender Development – On Demand

Why do people have sexual struggles? Why do people struggle with gender and sexual identity? Why do some people become homosexuals?

These are important questions in today’s culture. Understanding the components of sexual identity is key to helping people embrace God’s design for sexuality. From this video teaching, you will gain a deeper understanding of why females struggle with their gender and sexual identity. It will also assist parents in fostering healthy gender formation in children.

This teaching was first developed by Ricky Chelette, Executive Director of Living Hope Ministries. Having spoken with thousands who struggle with their sexual identity, Ricky brings vast experience and personal knowledge to this difficult subject. In addition to being involved in ministry for over 30 years, Ricky holds a BA in Political Science/Pre-Law and a Master in Religious Education. An ordained minister, he has taught at seminaries, colleges, and universities.

This presentation is delivered by Bonnie Scasta, Women’s Ministry Director for Living Hope Ministries. Building on the foundation of Chelette’s original teaching, Bonnie brings years of working with women who struggle with gender and identity issues to enhance the teaching. Bonnie ministers to women weekly and mentors women from all over the world on Living Hope’s online ministry (livehope.org/forums).  Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Her disarming joy and deep compassion are clearly demonstrated in this powerful teaching.
