Ricky Chelette
Ricky is Executive Director of Living Hope Ministries. As an ordained pastor, Ricky has over twenty years of pastoral ministry experience with the majority of those years in youth/student/young adult work. He is a gifted speaker, teacher and lecturer. Ricky is also co-founder and moderator of the world’s largest online forum outreach to ex-gay teens and young adults at www.livehope.org, and does personal, pastoral counseling with overcomers of all ages. Ricky and his wife, Merlinda, have been married for almost 17 years and have no children. They live in Arlington, Texas.

Darrel Auvenshine
Darrel serves as Minister of Worship and Missions at Alsbury Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas. He has been involved with Living Hope Ministries since 1993, first as a participant then as a leader. Darrel's personal struggle with same-gender attraction and sexual addiction came to the surface at the age of 14. Thanks to the support of loving parents who exemplified unconditional love and the help of a pastoral mentor, Darrel contacted Living Hope Ministries and began experiencing healing on the journey to freedom. His testimony speaks to the ongoing process of obedience in times of struggle and the amazing work of restoration God desires to accomplish in His servants. Where the enemy sought to disqualify, God has brought forth life and ministry. Darrel is now a Living Hope board member.
